Expense Tracker / Your information

Privacy policy.

Your ledger lives on your device. Here is how the iOS V1 app handles your information.

iOS V1 · English

Effective date: 1 October 2026

Expense Tracker is a manual business expense and sales ledger published by Deep Play Studio. This policy describes the iOS V1 app.

Information in the app

You may enter a business name, expenses, sales, payment and status details, notes, and settings. You may choose or photograph a receipt. Receipt text recognition runs on your device. The app stores ledger data and saved receipt images in its private local app storage.

The app does not require an account and does not transmit ledger information, receipt images, or OCR text to a developer-operated server. V1 does not include advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.

Permissions and user-selected files

The camera is used only when you choose Take photo for a receipt. You can use the photo picker or choose a PDF instead. A receipt is not attached to an expense until you confirm its recognized details and save that expense. You can cancel without saving it.

CSV and HTML exports and ZIP backups are created when you request them. A backup may contain expenses, sales, and receipt attachments. The iOS share sheet and Files picker let you choose where to send or save those files. The destination you choose may store or process the file under its own terms; do not share it with a destination you do not trust.

You can prepare a payment reminder from an open sale. This creates text for you to review and share through the iOS share sheet. The app does not send the message automatically, schedule a message, or transmit it to a developer-operated server. You choose whether to share it, its recipient, and its destination.

Retention and deletion

Deleting a record removes it from the ledger. Receipt attachments and local recovery copies, including safety copies created during restore, may remain in the app’s private storage. To remove all app-owned local records and attachments from this device, delete the app. Files you export or save elsewhere are outside the app’s control and must be deleted from that destination separately. The developer does not receive or retain a copy of local records.

Children

This app is a business ledger and is not designed for children.

Changes and support

If this policy changes, the updated version and effective date will be published here. For app support, visit Expense Tracker support or email info@deepplaystudio.com. Do not email receipts, customer details, or other private business information unless support specifically needs them and you have removed details that are not necessary.
