The Studio Difference
Why colleges invite an active studio, not a training company.
Most college technical workshops are either canned commercial sales pitches or outdated theoretical lectures. We treat students like upcoming junior engineers joining a high-performing product team.
Typical College Seminars
- Theoretical slides read verbatim off textbook PDFs
- Instructors who haven’t built commercial software in years
- Outdated tech stacks (deprecated frameworks & syntax drills)
- High-pressure sales pitch for expensive multi-year coaching diplomas
- Students leave with notes they never look at again
Deep Play Studio Sessions
- Live terminal coding, repo walkthroughs, and real studio case studies
- Taught by founders and active engineers shipping products daily between UK & India
- Current 2026 tech: AI agents, Unity 3D, Next.js 15, Go, PostgreSQL, Docker
- Zero course sales: Pure technical immersion and industry knowledge transfer
- Students leave with committed GitHub repos and deployed applications
Curriculum Tracks
Four specialized tracks for the upcoming workforce.
Each track is engineered around working repositories, live coding demos, and practical takeaways that students can immediately build upon.
Flagship · Next-Gen DevAI-Integrated Software Engineering & The Modern Workforce
How junior engineers must adapt to an AI-accelerated industry. Moving past raw syntax memorization toward systems thinking, automated testing, and pairing with AI coding agents without losing engineering rigor.
- Pairing with modern AI coding assistants (Cursor, Claude, Copilot) for architecture & refactoring
- The death of boilerplate: Prompt engineering for production code vs blind copy-pasting
- Test-Driven Development (TDD) as the ultimate guardrail against AI code hallucinations
- Building and deploying an AI-augmented microservice with Next.js, TypeScript, and modern APIs
Student Project OutcomeStudents build and deploy a working AI-integrated web app with live GitHub CI/CD.
Creative Tech · Unity & 3DGame Development & Real-Time 3D in Unity
Demystifying commercial game engineering. From core math and C# state machines to 3D asset import pipelines, shaders, and aggressive mobile performance profiling.
- Game loop architecture, physics raycasts, kinematic bodies, and input management
- From Blender to Unity: Coordinate origins, LOD hierarchies, collision hulls, and PBR shaders
- Profiling draw calls, memory allocation, garbage collection spikes, and targeting 60fps
- Packaging, building, and publishing an indie game demo ready for portfolio reviews
Student Project OutcomeStudents write a complete playable 3D minigame with physics, HUD, and audio.
Web & Systems · ScalabilityFull-Stack Web & Scalable Cloud Microservices
How production systems actually operate at scale. Moving beyond local localhost servers into relational database modeling, containerization, and automated cloud deployments.
- Modern web architecture: Server components, client hydration, and REST / WebSocket streaming
- PostgreSQL schema design: Indexing strategies, transactional integrity, and data migrations
- Containerizing services with Docker and deploying to production cloud infrastructure (Railway / AWS)
- Security fundamentals: JWT authentication, CORS, rate limiting, and environment secret hygiene
Student Project OutcomeStudents deploy a containerized full-stack application to a live public HTTPS URL.
Career Readiness · Placement CellThe Placement Blueprint: Building a Studio-Grade Portfolio
How to stand out when hundreds of students apply for the same engineering roles. Why traditional resumes fail, what engineering directors actually look for, and how to turn academic projects into proof of competence.
- Transforming generic college mini-projects into deployed, interactive portfolio pieces
- GitHub hygiene: Commit history, README documentation, architecture diagrams, and license files
- The modern technical interview: System design, live debugging, and behavioral alignment
- Navigating entry-level hiring in the AI era: Proving autonomy, curiosity, and technical depth
Student Project OutcomeStudents walk away with an audited project roadmap and a high-impact GitHub portfolio template.

Common Questions
Everything faculty and coordinators ask.
Quick details on logistics, student eligibility, laboratory requirements, and scheduling.
Which departments and years are these seminars suited for?
Our tracks are primarily designed for B.Tech, B.E, B.Sc, BCA, MCA, and M.Tech students in Computer Science, IT, AI & Data Science, Electronics, and Animation/Game Design. Content difficulty is calibrated based on whether the audience is 1st/2nd year (fundamentals & roadmaps) or 3rd/final year (deep architectural implementation & placements).
Are sessions available in-person on campus?
Yes! We conduct on-campus workshops across engineering colleges and universities in Kerala, South India, and the UK. For campuses outside these regions, we deliver high-engagement, interactive virtual sessions with live code sharing and remote lab support.
What are the infrastructure requirements for a hands-on workshop?
For a seminar: An auditorium or seminar hall with a high-definition projector, microphone, and HDMI connection. For a hands-on workshop: A computer lab with stable internet access and admin rights to install tools (or students bringing their own laptops with VS Code / Unity pre-installed). We provide setup instructions ahead of time.
Can we customize the workshop syllabus for our tech fest or department syllabus?
Yes. We frequently tailor sessions to align with specific department objectives, IEEE/ACM tech fest themes, or specific university elective curricula. Mention your custom requirements in the booking form.
Do students receive certificates?
Yes. All participants receive an official, verifiable digital certificate of participation from Deep Play Studio, co-branded with your institution.
How much advance notice is required to schedule a seminar?
We recommend reaching out at least 2 to 3 weeks in advance to coordinate speaker schedules, finalize custom topic outlines, and distribute student setup prerequisites.
